Walk Easy 30 mins

Drove myself to NCCC this afternoon to get myself some wholewheat bread, some lite tuna, and cucumber for my tuna mustard sandwich.  (Was told mustard is a lot healthier than mayo, and I somewhat remember having seen this on tv before.)

Anyway, I didn't have my camera with me because I left it in the office.  I was very excited to start day 1 of my 8 week beginner's running program I downloaded from runnersworld dot com.

And then It happened.

I saw pizza.

Grabbed my phone to take a quick picture.

Fresh out of the fucking oven.  The cheese was just starting to melt, like lava flowing from the mouth of a volcano.  (I would've used another metaphor for it but that would be too R18.)

And then I remembered Jub's lecture.  That it all starts with discipline.

Think of all the calories!!

Discipline.  Discipline young padwan learner.

...

I had 3 slices.  Damnit.

So after munching on 3 pizza slices, I got my supplies from the supermarket, drove home and dressed up for Day 1.  According to week 1 instructions, Tuesday was supposed to be Walk day, and that I was supposed to walk easy for 30mins.

I was thinking of doubling the time required, but decided against it.  Maybe these programs are meant to be followed.

Discipline.

So I walked easy for 30 mins at the baywalk.  And it was pretty easy.  Now i'm also very guilty about the 2nd and 3rd slice of pizza.

And so it begins again.

Looking forward to run and walk day tomorrow.  Let's make this fun.
