Breakfast and Lunch: February 13, 2010

I love good food.

As mentioned in my earlier post today, I'm taking Saturday and Sunday off from my fitness project to rest my shin, my right thighs and knees and my left ankle.  I'm doing this to able to continue the 8week program, instead of trying to continue with the pain lingering.  I was told it'll ultimately affect my foot strikes as well, adding to the pain.

And I want none of that anymore.

So today, as I drove to pick up Trina from volunteer work in a small(er) school, I passed by Jollibee, since I didn't get to eat breakfast at home.

I ordered the corned beef breakfast meal, since I really love their corned beef.  I also had some pineapple juice, as a jumpstarter for my early day.  Checkit >

So I went to pick up Trina in Marikina, and we drove up back to Antipolo to have late lunch in their house.

As always, the food was really good.

There was Kare-Kare, Lengua, and some Siomai (Tita's new business venture), and as always, a tub of brown rice for the "nagda-diet". (haha).

There was also some Amber pichi-pichi and a box that contained what looked like really really good moist chocolate cake.

But I'm a different Ryan now.  I have discipline.  I have strength.  I did not let the tempation get in the way of my goal to getting back in shape.  I still feel the pain in my legs from all the running.

I did it.

I only had a serving of everything.
